Knowing that I had spent decades in the financial services industry, a number of friends and former colleagues began asking if I could help their mother or father sort out the state of their financial situation following the passing of the other parent. The more often those calls came, the more it started to feel like a calling.

Queries came about serving as a conservator, trustee, custodian, personal representative, and more. People were seeking an advocate, a champion, for their family member — someone who could be trusted and would step in at a difficult time to help with what can be some of the most challenging aspects of life.
